I keep hard things moving when the stakes are high.

I’ve led a team of 60 across 45 worldwide deployments and served as aide de camp to a two-star admiral.

The setting keeps changing. The work stays the same: get the picture straight, give every problem one owner, and follow it to closure. These days I build with a range of AI models to push the envelope of what one person can accomplish in a day.

Two ways aboard

Build with me

I’m starting a company, and its name isn’t on the hull yet. I’m drawn to hard problems in the physical world: maritime, critical infrastructure, advanced manufacturing, and the AI that runs underneath them. I want to meet founders who need an operator, technical people who want a co-founder, and investors who back people early.

Talk about building

Hire me

I’d also join the right team. I’m looking at chief of staff, operations and founding-team roles with leaders working on something that matters. I set the cadence, run the follow-through, and build the systems that keep it running after I’ve moved on to the next problem.

Talk about a role

I also still scout maritime tech, vetting what works at sea and connecting it with the people who fund it. You’ll find that side of things on @matias.labs.

Hail me.
